Panela and Chorizo Rolls
WHAT YOU NEED
- ½ package (5 oz.) Cacique® Pork Chorizo, cooked
- ½ package (5 oz.) Cacique® Panela, cut in thick strips
- 1 package of refrigerated crescent-style rolls
HOW TO MAKE IT
- Preheat oven to 325ºF.
- Unroll dough. Place one cheese strip and 2 tablespoons of cooked Longaniza on each triangle.
- Roll dough, following package instructions, except make sure you tuck the corners in (this keeps cheese from oozing out).
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven, cool slightly and serve warm. These rolls travel well, which make them ideal for picnics and BBQs.
