Empanadas de Dulce de Leche y Oaxaca Cheese
WHAT YOU NEED
- 10 spoonfuls of dulce de leche
- 10 ounces Cacique Oaxaca Cheese, cut into cubes
- 10 empanada dough discs from one 11.6oz frozen package, defrosted
- 1 egg (optional for crunchy)
HOW TO MAKE IT
- Place a cube of cheese in the middle of each disc and top with a spoonful of dulce de leche. Fold over dough, pressing to seal with a fork, and place on a baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg (optional).
- Bake for 12-15 minutes (until golden brown). Best when served warm!
